Clavimox 1gm Tablets: Each film coated table contains

Amoxycillin 875 mg / Clavulanic acid 125 mg

Clavimox 625 Tablets: Each film coated tablet contains

Amoxycillin 500 mg / Clavulanic acid 125 mg

Clavimox forte 312 Dry syrup: Each 5 ml of reconstituted syrup contains

Amoxycillin 250 mg / Clavulanic acid 62.5 mg

Clavimox 156 Dry syrup: Each 5 ml of reconstituted syrup contains

Amoxycillin 125 mg as / Clavulanic acid 31.25 mg

Clavimox 62.5 Infant oral drops: Each 1 ml of reconstituted syrup contains

Amoxycillin 50 mg / Clavulanic acid 12.5 mg

 

Indications

Clavimox is indicated for treatment of the following cases:

- Upper and lower respiratory tract infections such as: otitis media, sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia … etc.

- Genito – urinary tract infections such as urethritis, cystitis and pyelonephritis…etc.

- Skin and soft tissue infections such as boils and wound infections.

- Bones and joints infections.

- Dental infections.

 

Dosage and administration

Adults: 1 tablet (Clavimox 625) three times daily

In sever infections dose is 1 tablet of (Clavimox 1gm) twice daily

Children from 6 - 12 years: 5 ml (Clavimox forte 312) three times daily

Children from 1 - 6 years: 5 ml (Clavimox 156) three times daily

Children below 1 year: 0.13 ml (Clavimox 62.5 infant oral drops) per 1 kg of body weight , three times daily

 

Presentation

Clavimox 1gm tablets: pack of 2 blisters each contains 7 film coated tablets

Clavimox 625 tablets: pack of 2 blisters each contains 10 film coated tablets

Clavimox forte 312 dry syrup: bottle containing powder for preparing 100 ml suspension

Clavimox 156 dry syrup: bottle containing powder for preparing 100 ml suspension

Clavimox 62.5 infant oral drops: bottle containing powder for preparing 20 ml suspension
